2025 Mad Hatter's Ball Honoree: Marie Cogar
Marie is a two time cancer survivor who has experienced multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Her background as a licensed therapist and her personal experience as a cancer survivor led her to start a cancer support group in Saranac Lake and become an active volunteer and fundraiser in the Relay for Life in the Tri-Lakes. Marie is also one of the founding members of the Saranac Lake Young Arts Association and was a board member of ArtWorks for 10 years. She is an artist with her own fused glass business and sings in the Northern Lights Choir. Join us in honoring Marie and sharing her story of strength and hope.
Creative Healing Connections is a non-profit 501(c)3 and all money raised supports our mission of providing healing experiences for people seeking comfort and support with their wellness journey. Our main focus is offering retreats each year for women (and women veterans) in the Adirondack region suffering from chronic illness and cancer. All of the money raised at this event helps us provide these retreats at little or no cost to the women who need it most.
